About
Flint Hill Farm Summer Camps offers Kindercamp, Farm Camp, and Horse Lovers Camp that include riding and horse-related activities, crafts and horse-related programs, gardening, animal care and handling, forestry projects, and a Woods and Pasture walk. Campers may take part in daily feeding and care of the dairy herd, learn about horses and their care, goats and cows with dairy and cheesemaking, the garden and woods, and chickens including housing, feeding, care, and eggs. Horse Lovers Camp includes a Horse Show that is open for families on Friday.
• Ages: 4–13 years old
• Schedule: Kinder Camp, Horse Lovers Camp, and Farm Camp run Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:00 PM, in one-week sessions from late June through early August, with after care available for all campers at $5.00 per half hour and Friday designated as Family Day or Parents Day with a special Horse Show for Horse Lovers Camp.
• Price: Kinder Camp is $400 per week; Horse Lovers Camp and Farm Camp are $400 per week for full day, with special pricing for 4–7 weeks for the same child, a 10% discount for a second child from the same family, non-refundable deposits of $100 per Kinder Camp week and $200 per week for Horse Lovers and Farm Camp, and riding helmet rentals available for $5.00 per day.

The mission of Flint Hill Farm Educational Center, Inc. is to bridge the gap between the urban/suburban community and the farm. The farm is a registered certified raw milk goat dairy, is a certified raw milk dairy through the PA Department of Agriculture, and displays the PA Preferred labels on its food. The expanded Woods and Pasture walk was developed in collaboration with the PA Department of Forestry.
Flint Hill Farm Educational Center, Inc. is classified as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization by the Internal Revenue Service. The Cicion and Hassick families farmed this property from the early 1910s to 1997. The leadership includes farm owner Kathleen Fields. The Educational Center collaborates through programs, volunteers, and purchases with businesses, organizations, colleges, and school districts including Air Products, Lehigh Valley Health Network, Just Born, VIA, ARCH, ARC, SPIN, Southern Lehigh School District, Lutron, Olympus, University of Pennsylvania, DeSales University, Muhlenburg College, Cedar Crest College, Lafayette College, Saucon Valley, Bethlehem, Allentown, Parkland School District, Buy Fresh Buy Local, Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture, Lehigh County Conservation District, NRCS, and Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Facility.
After care for all campers costs $5.00 per half hour and must be prearranged with a camp counselor unless there is an emergency. Requirements for full day camps include a full lunch box, extra snack, and water, with an extra pair of clothes, sunscreen, bug repellent, and a rain slicker for inclement weather. Parents are responsible for packing a full lunchbox, water, and an extra snack each day, and children must be fully potty trained. Children are asked to wear appropriate attire for exploring the farm such as a T-shirt, shorts, closed-toed walking shoes, and a bathing suit for water play, with an additional outfit like shorts, sneakers, and rain slickers. For riding activities, children should wear long pants and shoes with heels, and riding helmets are required and can be rented for $5.00 per day, with an additional outfit for other activities such as shorts, sneakers, and laced-up shoes. Families are welcome to bring cash for the farm store.
Each Farm Camp group is described as unique, creating its own area of focus for the week. Family farm stays allow families to experience life on the farm together one day at a time, and overnight accommodations are available at the farmhouse.
