Christian Retreat Center Youth Camps take place at a Christian camp and guest services rental facility where the heart of the ministry is summer programs, including youth camps and TIMS. The program is part of several weeks of summer offerings that include youth and children summer camps, local missions with TIMS, and multiple family camps.

In 1978, 238 acres of land were purchased and Christian Retreat Center was founded, and in 1981 the first children and youth camp was held using a modified barn with 13 campers. The Christian Retreat Center’s mission is to create an atmosphere of peace and hope at the camp and in the community in order to connect people to Jesus and to each other. The camp is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization owned by the Allegheny and Susquehanna Conferences of the Brethren in Christ Denomination. Christian Retreat Center is affiliated with the Brethren in Christ Denomination, the Christian Camp & Conference Association, and the Juniata River Valley Chamber of Commerce.
