About
Easton Area Community Center Youth Programs include activities such as Summer Camp, a Soccer Summer Program, Saints Clubhouse afterschool program, basketball, wrestling, cheerleading, soccer, teen mentoring, and after school enrichment programs. Youth take part in art projects, dance projects, STEM projects, engaging and innovative arts, music, learning experiences, physical fitness programs, and library use and reading in the Cops n Kids room. The program also offers Halloween fun and holiday fun with Santa and the Big Easy Easton Jazz Band, which provides music to after school children, teaches them how to play musical instruments, practices and performs for the children, and donates musical instruments.

Easton Area Community Center Youth Programs are part of a private non-profit 501 c3 organization that focuses on educational and athletic activities for children between the ages of five and eighteen years of age. The organization has been serving the West Ward of Easton for 60 years and describes this neighborhood as the most challenging and diverse within the City of Easton. Its mission is to provide programs, resources and role models in a safe haven that enhances the social, physical and mental well-being of youth and adults. The center states a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and to being an inclusive, anti-racist organization.
The Easton Area Community Center includes a gym and a lower level Cops n Kids room, which is described as a phenomenal library and a place to pick up books or relax and read with children, and it has new energy efficient windows so that children can see outside. The Saints Clubhouse afterschool program serves youth from kindergarten through 8th grade. The Big Easy Easton Jazz Band is described as a great partner that provides music to after school children, teaches them how to be young musicians, and practices and performs at the center.
The center also runs Free English Speaking Classes, a FOOD GIVEAWAY, and the Silver Connections Senior Program, which includes arts, music, senior fitness like chair yoga, educational lectures, and quarterly field trips. Leadership and key contacts mentioned include Adam Williams for fundraising or participation in fundraisers; Ms. Maria, Ms. Mayche, and Chef Derrick in the Silver Connections Senior Program; and Jeremy, who is associated with the Big Easy Easton Jazz Band. The organization received a grant for State of Pa Senior Centers to renovate its first floor.
