Wesleyville Baptist Church Pre-School & After School Program

Wesleyville Baptist Church Pre-School & After School Program includes both preschool and after school options under the direction of Maggie Stiver as the Pre-School & After School Program Director. The program is part of Wesleyville Baptist Church, which is handicap accessible.

Wesleyville Baptist Church was founded in 1890 and states its mission as, “Welcome People To Explore The Complete Love Of Jesus!” The preschool and after school program includes more than 50 children and is supported and sought out within the community. Monthly Family Nights between August through April include a meal and a game or activity to engage both members and non-members, with average attendance between 50–60 or more people per event. Pastor Shane L. Thompson leads as Pastor and completed his Bachelor of Arts in Theology at Gannon University, and the leadership team also includes Cathy Vincent as Secretary, Vivian Wike as Sunday School Superintendent, and Craig Askins as Choir Director. One parent, Sheila Foster, shared that her family is thankful for the WBC After School Program and that the kids love all the teachers and kids, and also stated that she is happy to be a member and part of the WBC family.
