Children & Youth Bereavement Camps is a group of bereavement camps funded through the Venango VNA Foundation. The camps include Camp Good Grief, Horses for Healing, and Hope for the Holidays. All camps are open to any child or youth in the area who is coping with grief. The program is connected to services that operate during business hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Children & Youth Bereavement Camps are funded by the Venango VNA Foundation, which is a private, nonprofit corporation. The Foundation’s sole stated purpose is to generate funding to support the charitable care and services provided by the Visiting Nurses Association of Venango County. The Foundation raises funds to assist Visiting Nurses Association of Venango County patients who do not have the resources to pay for home health care services and to underwrite community programs and projects, including these bereavement camps for children and youth.
