Harleysville YMCA Child Care Center Summer Camp is part of the North Penn YMCA, which has been a trusted summer camp destination for Montgomery County families for decades. Each camp in the North Penn YMCA system offers a variety of outdoor and recreational activities tailored to its site, including sports, games, swimming, and enrichment education, and camps feature weekly themes.

The organization’s mission is to make the community it serves a better place to live through programs and activities that enrich and strengthen families, provide supervised recreation, offer learning, leadership and character development opportunities, and promote wellness for all people, regardless of ability to pay. North Penn YMCA provides programs and services for children, teens, seniors, families and those with special needs in the North Penn, Indian Valley and Perkiomen Valley communities, and it provides on-site childcare at schools in two local school districts along with outreach programs in multiple locations. No one is turned away because of an inability to pay at North Penn YMCA, and in 2024 it provided over $780,000 worth of charitable services benefiting more than 8,800 individuals.
