North Penn YMCA Youth Programs – Indian Valley Family YMCA includes recreational swimming, lap swimming, swim lessons, aquatics group exercise classes, open recreational play, and classes. The program also includes childcare, swimming, sports, group and individual exercise, character building, social activities, and volunteer opportunities.

North Penn YMCA Youth Programs – Indian Valley Family YMCA operates at the Indian Valley Branch of North Penn YMCA, which features an indoor pool for recreational and lap swimming, swim lessons for all ages, and aquatics group exercise classes, a large 6,000-square-foot family wellness center with cardio and strength equipment, and a youth area with kid-size equipment, climbing and bouldering walls, and recreational play equipment. The branch also includes a full-sized gymnasium for open recreational play and classes, an RPM room with spin bikes, a Child Care Center on site, Summer Camp on site, on-site physical therapy, and options for birthday parties and facility rentals. The program offers free Stay & Play babysitting while adults work out and includes programs for all ages, including parent/child programs and clubs and events for active older adults. Facility hours run Monday through Friday from 5 AM to 9:30 PM, Saturday from 7 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM, with membership office hours Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 7 PM, Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, Saturday from 9 AM to 3 PM, and Sunday from 9 AM to 1 PM.

North Penn YMCA was established in 1955. The organization states that no one is turned away because of an inability to pay and that it is an open and inclusive organization welcoming people of all races, religions, incomes, and abilities. The North Penn YMCA provides programs and services for children, teens, seniors, families, and those with special needs in the North Penn, Indian Valley, and Perkiomen Valley communities, and provides on-site childcare at schools in two local school districts and outreach programs in multiple locations. It engages in fundraising through an annual campaign, special events, grants, bequests, and individual, corporate, or foundation support to offer broad access to YMCA programs. The mission of North Penn YMCA is to make the community it serves a better place to live by enriching and strengthening families, providing supervised recreation, offering learning, leadership, and character development opportunities, and promoting wellness for all people, regardless of ability to pay.
