Abington Township Parks & Recreation Programs include access to multiple park playgrounds and facilities. Families can use the Park Facilities Interactive Web Map to search for township park facilities based on amenities and location. Roychester Park features an inclusive park and playground. Elk Street Tot Lot is currently closed for the installation of a new playground, and Roslyn Park Playground is currently closed for the installation of new playground equipment in the toddler area. The programs also include a Memorial Donation Program that allows the purchase of a tree or park bench to honor the memory of a loved one.

The Department of Parks and Recreation states that its goal is to provide essential park and recreation facilities and organized programs to enhance the quality of life for the people who live in Abington Township. The department is led by Jessica Tholey, Director of Parks & Recreation. The Memorial Donation Program offers families a way to purchase a tree or park bench in memory of a loved one.
