About
YMCA Camp Kennett includes daily swimming, arts and crafts, field games and sports, and activities such as four square, pedal carts, basketball, playground time, and the gaga pit. Campers also take part in nature or environmental education, character development and team building, community service, drama, cooking, music, outdoor living, science and nature, STEM, and academic enrichment activities. The program also offers field trips and in house experiences as part of its schedule.

• Schedule: NEW FOR 2026: Field trips with Traditional Campers during weeks 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10; in house experiences on campus during weeks 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11
YMCA Camp Kennett is led by camp director, Kurt Rodriguez Whalen. The YMCA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit social services organization dedicated to Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility. The YMCA of Greater Brandywine serves the community in and surrounding Chester County, PA.
