About
Quest Adventure Summer Camps offers activities such as high ropes, zip lines, a rock climbing tower, kayaking, rafting, hiking, and field games. Campers use a high ropes challenge course with ziplines, a giant's ladder, and a leap of faith, as well as a 70 foot climbing tower with multiple climbing angles and difficulty levels and an integrated 70 foot Giant's Ladder. The program also includes a low ropes team challenge course in low ropes woods, a 3D whale watch hexagonal platform raised above the ground, outdoor rock climbing, nature hikes, a climbing wall, team development activities, and tie dyeing.
• Ages: 8–13 years old
• Schedule: Weekly sessions, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
• Price: $295 for each week during the 2026 summer camp season, per camper.
Quest Adventure Summer Camps serves youth ages 8–13 years old with hands-on, engaging, and adventure-filled programming. The activities are designed to help each camper become more independent, enhance self-confidence, develop self-awareness, and develop mind and body in a fun and safe learning environment. The camp has a camper to counselor ratio of 5:1, with a goal to keep camp sizes small and maximize instructor and camper interactions, and there are 30 spots total available each week. Each week a child attends camp they receive a free camp t-shirt. The camp is described as the most active, outdoor, and adventure-oriented summer camps in the region.
The leadership team includes Camp Director Nick (referred to as Nick, Director) and Summer Camp Manager Naomi Brode. Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania, which is associated with the program, was established in 2022 through the integration of Bloomsburg University, Lock Haven University and Mansfield University.
Registration for the 2026 Adventure Summer Camps will open in January, and spots cannot be reserved without payment and are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. For ages 11–13, an outdoor rock climbing experience substitutes the hike. If a child tests positive for the COVID-19 virus, they will not be allowed to attend the Quest Summer Adventure Camps within 5 days of testing positive, and no refunds are processed for illness.
