Virtual Summer Theatre Camp

Academy Theatre Educational Classes take place in a 135-year old facility that presents shows, outside acts, and performances. The program includes educational classes and uses a space that is also available as rental space for special occasions. Over 100 volunteers work to perform in over 70 performances each season, serving over 10,000 patrons, and the facility includes handicapped accessible seating and restroom facilities.

The Academy Theatre operates in a 135-year old facility with seating for 470, including handicapped accessible seating and restroom facilities. The leadership team includes Daniel Megaffin, Executive Director; Julia Kemp, Artistic Director; Darrel Whitney, Administrator; and Margaret West, Marketing Coordinator. The organization is a proud member of the Twin Tiers Theatre Consortium, which includes Barrow-Civic Theatre, Struthers Library Theatre, 1891 Fredonia Opera House, Palmer Opera House, Brookville Community Theatre, Pitt-Bradford Arts Program, Area Community Theatre of Sharpsville, and Erie Playhouse.
