Snipes Farm and Education Center

Snipes Farm and Education Center offers a Little Sprouts caregiver-and-me class along with hands-on farm animal fun. The program also includes Fall Festival weekends with tractor drawn wagon rides, horse drawn wagon rides, and a scavenger hunt.

Snipes Farm and Education Center has been farming since 1767 and was founded in 2008 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Its mission is modeling and teaching sustainable farming, feeding those in need and empowering community through farm and nature education. It is described as a community farm and one of the only sustainability focused farms in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, with an outdoor classroom and a focus on regenerative agriculture. The farm states that 100% of its produce is donated to local food kitchens and distribution centers in Trenton and beyond.

One caregiver shared that their family has visited twice for the Fall Festival weekends and mentioned pumpkins, hay towers, live animals, and farm themed playgrounds, saying their three year old did not want to leave. Another caregiver described positive experiences with summer camps and purchasing produce. A grandparent highlighted that their grandkids enjoyed the tractor drawn and horse drawn wagon rides, the scavenger hunt, and items like cider, fresh eggs, and apple cider donuts.
