Palmyra Area Recreation & Parks Commission Programs offers a range of activities that include Boys & Girls Soccer, Boys & Girls Basketball, Girls Field Hockey, Girls Softball, Co-ed Track, Jr. Running Club, Cross-Country, assorted sports camps, Summer Day Camp, Softball, Track, Girls Soccer, Tennis, Summer Sports Camps, Basketball, Volleyball Camp, Girls Fall Field Hockey, Boys Soccer, Running Club, Junior Running Club, and a Summer Camp Program.

• Schedule: Office hours Monday to Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., closed Saturday and Sunday; the office is closed between 12 and 1 p.m. for lunch, and summer hours vary due to summer camp
The Palmyra Area Recreation and Parks Commission began in 1975. Its mission is to provide safe, high-quality, and accessible recreational programs and facilities that enrich the lives of youth and families throughout the Palmyra Area School District. The commission serves residents of the Palmyra Area School District, which includes North and South Londonderry Townships and the Palmyra Borough, and welcomes other surrounding townships to join in efforts to develop a sense of community through participation in programs. The site was donated by Hung Nguyen. The leadership team includes Executive Director Rebecca Zalit and Office Manager Cindy Harshman. The commission offers a variety of programs for all ages throughout the year.
