Made Institute Youth Programs offers sewing, pattern making, interior design, and portfolio prep activities for kids and teens. The program includes after school options, weekend sewing, summer camp, and workshops on niche topics such as Denim Jacket, Upcycled Crossover Bag, and Chainmail Jewelry. A course includes six classes spread over six weeks.

Since 2012, Made Institute has filled the gap, reaching beyond traditional education models to build confidence and careers. Through a variety of direct-to-learn pathways, its mission is to ignite potential, grow, and sustain it. Made Institute is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, State Board of Private Licensed Schools, and only the Fashion Certificate Program is under this license. The programs feature small class sizes, hands-on teaching, one-on-one mentoring, and intergenerational and all-level pathways to creative learning and support, and they operate on a part-time schedule with no general education requirements.
Made Institute’s leadership and instructional team includes Rachel Ford (CEO & Program Director), Victoria Wright (Student Coordinator, Industry Seminar & Business of Fashion Instructor), Tiffany Mercer-Robbins (Head of Marketing & PR), Rosemary Schwartz (Admissions Coordinator), Thomas Rowe (Studio Manager, Sewing Instructor), Leah Harper (Public Program Manager), Kristine Auble (Social Media Manager), Taylor Gunther (Fashion Show Coordinator), Melissa DeLorenzo (K-12 Virtual Education Coordinator, Sewing Instructor), Alexandra Damiano (Pattern Making Instructor), Veronica Marche Jamison (Fashion Illustration Instructor), Jaclyn Everett (Pattern Making, Collection, & Adobe Instructor), Casey Dworkin (Industry Seminar & Business of Fashion Instructor), Aleah Carr (Interior Design Instructor), Lauren Chiu (Sewing & Jewelry Making Instructor), Hajar Muhammad (Sewing Instructor), Ashani Scales (Sewing Instructor), Taylor Green (Patternmaking Instructor), Jae Ford (Drawing & Portfolio Development Instructor), Emma Golley (Industry Seminar Instructor), Ali Dworsak (Fiber Arts Instructor), and Tyler Tranguch (Sewing Instructor). Made Institute is currently working to partner with organizations that can provide grants, scholarships, and loan support for their certificate program students. Studio memberships provide access to the studio and all equipment for as long as a participant is a member, and the institute provides a pathway to earn a certificate through an 18-month Fashion Certificate Program.
