Before and After School Care includes a healthy breakfast along with stimulating activities, homework help, and recreational activities. Children in the program may take part in hiking, swimming, STEAM workshops, and leadership programming. The program also offers group exercise classes such as yoga, cycling, strength training, and Zumba.
• Ages: 0–11 years old
• Schedule: Youth Development Business Office Monday through Friday from 7am–4:30pm
Experienced and certified staff members lead the program. The YMCA-licensed locations follow the PA childcare codes, and the program participates in the Keystone Stars Quality Initiative Program. The infant, toddler, and preschool components use the Creative Curriculum, a research-based approach, with the infant and toddler programs focusing on responsive care and the preschool program using the Creative Curriculum for Preschool.
