Ellis Summer Programs offers a wide range of activities, including Coed Kid Camps, Changemakers Camps, and Athletics Camps. Campers can join options such as Mini Sticks Field Hockey, Wheel Throwing: Ceramics in Motion, Soccer Camp, Middle School Basketball Camp, Middle School Field Hockey, Science Sleuths, Game On! Retro Video Game Lab, Unplugged Game Design, Off to the Races, Your Art, Your Story, Magic and Mysteries, Eco-Inventors, Fiber Arts & Textile Makers Studio, Color Chaos: Tie-Dye Camp, Mythical Beasts Unleashed!, and Ellis Olympics. Summer programs feature hands-on, project-based learning and include imaginative, play-based coed camps as well as athletics options that emphasize teamwork and growth.

• Schedule: Regular arrival 8:15–9:00 a.m.; half-day dismissal 12:00–12:15 p.m.; full-day dismissal 3:00–3:15 p.m.
Summer Programs at The Ellis School are led by Ellis teachers, coaches, and teaching artists, and a nurse is on campus from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. every day of camp. All campers must complete the Summer Camp Health Form online within the Ellis Summer Camp Registration Form, and campers must have current medical and immunization information on file as required by state law. Campers must be 24 hours fever-free, with a temperature below 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit, before they can return to camp, and parents and guardians are not permitted to visit campers during the camp day.
The Ellis School has more than 100 years of girl-centered, immersive education tailored to the development and empowerment of girls, and its mission is to educate girls and young women to become bold, authentic, and intellectually vibrant changemakers. Summer Programs at The Ellis School are open to both Ellis and non-Ellis families. The Ellis School is associated with or accredited by the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools, Pittsburgh Consortium of Independent Schools, National Association of Independent Schools, and The International Coalition of Girls' Schools. All summer camp offerings in 2026 are subject to minimum and maximum enrollment, with full refunds if a camp is canceled due to low enrollment. The leadership team includes Jacqueline Dineen, Director of Summer Programs; Abigail Katsos, Director of Extended Day Programming; Gary J. Niels, Head of School; Dr. Sarah Odell, Assistant Head of School; and Amanda Banachoski, Athletic Director.
