The program also offers nature-based education programs like Paleontology Camp, The Secret Society of Pollinators, Mammals & Nocturnal Animals, Composting & Recycling, and Storytime & Crafting in the Garden. Families can take part in Electric Cart Garden Tours, Sound Bath Meditation: Open Your Heart, Paint-N-Sip: Breezy Beach, Crafternoons, Foraging Prose & Poetry, Ladies Night Out: Fill Your Cup, and special events connected to the Scraposaurs Sculptures and Scraposaurs at the Gazebo.

Pittsburgh Botanic Garden was founded in 1988. The Garden features 65 acres of cultivated gardens and woodlands, with plant collections of the Allegheny Plateau and temperate regions and display gardens and woodlands showcasing the Allegheny Plateau ecoregion. The Scraposaurs exhibition features dinosaurs and prehistoric animals built using repurposed materials and found objects and is open through October 2026. Blossom: Gone Native is a celebration of biodiversity and the native plants that make the region special, and visitors can see American Lotus (Nelumbo lutes) blooming in the Lotus Pond.
