Southern End Community Association Youth Programs

Southern End Community Association Youth Programs offers activities such as swim lessons, water aerobics, a swim team, Lifeguard courses, youth sports, sports leagues, pre-school programs, exercise, American Red Cross Training Classes, educational classes, and a variety of camps and trips. The program also includes summer camps such as Day, Art, Tennis, and Lacrosse camps, as well as special events and activities like Swiftie Summer Splash, Bingo Fridays, Youth Swim Lessons, Pickleball, Martial Arts including Riehl Martial Arts Moo Duk Kwan (Korean Art of Self-Defense), Flag Football, SECAFest, and the Annual 5K Race for Rec.

Southern End Community Association Youth Programs operates within a 15-acre community park that includes a fishing pond, playground and kids area, outdoor pool, skateboard and freestyle bike park, basketball courts, beach volleyball courts, and pickleball courts, and offers year round recreational activities for all ages. The organization’s mission is to create recreational opportunities for local residents of Southern Lancaster County by providing high value programs for children and adults. Southern End Community Association is a 501(c)(3) organization and lists its leadership as Trevor Marsh, Director; Laura Walker, President; Robbie Hassel, Vice President; Brittney Woerth, Secretary; John Slauch, Treasurer; Jen Seal, Officer; Howard Urbine, Officer; Jacqueline Neuhauser, Officer; Julie Nelson, Officer; and Tawn Battiste, Officer. Community involvement includes sponsorship support for events such as Summer Programming, Flag Football, SECAFest, and the Annual 5K Race for Rec, with sponsors recognized as visible contributors to the Southern End.
