About
Swarthmore Recreation Association Youth Programs and Camps offers year-round sports and recreation activities including Nether-Swarthmore Hoops recreational league for boys and girls in grades 2–9, Nether-Swarthmore Hoops tournament teams for boys and girls in grades 3–6, and Nether-Swarthmore Field Hockey for girls in grades 1–8. The program also includes Swarthmore Soccer Club travel teams, Haven Youth Lacrosse for boys and girls in grades 3–8, track and field in the spring, mountain biking in the spring and fall, co-ed flag football in the winter, volleyball clinics, and ultimate frisbee in the spring and fall. For younger children, there are developmental programs in soccer, lacrosse, and basketball, along with summer day and afternoon camps for preschool age through 7th grade and sports-specific summer camps in basketball, lacrosse, soccer, and ultimate frisbee.
