Trinity Cooperative Day Nursery (TCDN) is a PA-licensed childcare center. The program offers child-centered, developmentally appropriate activities within a supportive, caring environment and describes itself as a place where children can explore, play, and grow in a secure, nurturing environment. TCDN’s family grouping classrooms bring older and younger children together so older children can support and model for younger ones, while younger children observe and emulate the skills of older peers. The program states that it values partnerships with families and aims to create a strong community where everyone feels welcome and supported. TCDN lists core values that include providing a welcoming, safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children, families, and staff; fostering positive, open, and ongoing communication with families; helping children discover their interests and grow in confidence and independence while guiding their love of learning; respecting and nurturing children, families, and staff through acceptance of various cultures and opinions; and teaching children the importance of kindness while modeling positive social interactions.

TCDN also offers a before and after school program for children in grades K–5, a summer camp for children entering grades 1–5, and a Kindergarten Complement AM & PM Explorers Program. Community members are invited to help shape the future of TCDN by joining its Board of Directors. Parent feedback includes comments from former TCDN parents thanking the staff for daily notes, describing the faculty and staff as doing a phenomenal job, and expressing appreciation for efforts to keep children safe. Other testimonials mention that teachers in specific classrooms, such as the Cricket Teachers and the Duckling room, are doing a “nice job,” and one parent states that TCDN has been a special place for both of their children, with quality care, education, and experiences.
