OLMC Camp & Retreat Center offers activities such as creek stomping, hiking, arts & crafts, music, bible lessons, daily Mass, field games, gaga-ball, and both high and low ropes courses. High School Mission Week at OLMC Camp & Retreat Center is a five-night camp that includes these outdoor and faith-based activities.

The mission of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Camp & Retreat Center is to provide authentic opportunities for people to encounter Christ, His Church, and one another through outdoor programming and retreats. The Summer Camp Adventure Staff are young adults age 18 and older. OLMC Camp & Retreat Center also offers Adventure Catechesis, which intentionally weaves the faith naturally into the exciting and fun activities of camp, along with outdoor programming and retreats that interrupt busyness, technology, and messaging and create more space for relationship, beauty, and quiet. Additional offerings include Day Camp for campers entering grades 2–8 in Fall 2026, High School Mission Week for youth entering grades 8–12 in Fall 2026, Three-Day Family Camping for families, a Young Adult Experience for ages 21–30, and Summer Camp Adventure Staff positions for young adults age 18 and older.
Dry Bones Ministries, a new 501(c)3 nonprofit, has a mission to revitalize the faith of and build a future for Catholics in Pittsburgh and is described as a grassroots evangelization ministry made up of local priests and lay people who want to identify and meet the needs of the people in the Diocese. One testimonial states that young people need a safe and beautiful place that feels like home, encourages them to know and be themselves, and calls them to the adventure of a lifetime, namely, a friendship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to discipleship, evangelization, and leadership.
