The Youth Leadership Program is designed for students in 6th–8th grade and includes hands-on experiences. The program also includes mentorship from local community leaders as part of its activities.

The Youth Leadership Program is offered by the Warren Forest Higher Education Council. The mission of the Warren Forest Higher Education Council is to deliver accessible, high-quality educational and enrichment opportunities that empower individuals, support community needs, and promote lifelong learning. The leadership team includes John Papalia (Executive Director), Angela Bigelow (Assistant Director), Emily Magnuson (Director of Special Events & Programs), Christine Stover (Business Manager), Leanna Ashe (Evening Receptionist), and Patricia Bailey (Evening Receptionist). The board leadership includes Robert Dilks (Chair), Tina Dinger (Vice Chair), Zach Dickerson (Secretary), and Paul Pascuzzi (Treasurer), along with board members Amy Beers, Ryan Betts, Jamie Frederick, Dan Jeffrey, Andrea Stapleford, Karen Thomas, Denise Whipp, and Kerstin Wyman. Ex-officio board members are Senator Scott Hutchinson, Representative Kathy Rapp, Commissioner Tricia Durbin, Commissioner Robert Snyder, and Amanda Hetrick. The program includes mentorship from local community leaders as part of its connection to the community.
