The Warren County Conservation District was established in 1948. Its mission is to improve the environmental quality of Warren County by promoting the wise use, enhancement, and understanding of natural resources. The District’s leadership team includes Katie Stover (District Manager), Sherry Moore (Conservation Program Assistant), Jean Gomory (Watershed Specialist), Patches Hendrickson (Agricultural Resource Technician), and James Marquis (Hatch Run Conservation Assistant). Conservation Districts are made up of volunteers committed to the conservation movement. The District’s website explains its programs, including educational program information and applications for camps, and also provides Dirt, Gravel, & Low Volume Road Program applications, Garden Plot information, and other information.
