Peace Camps for Kids is a program sponsored by the Peace and Justice Center. The 2026 Summer Peace Camp session is fully enrolled.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, June 22–26, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Peace and Justice Center has sponsored Peace Camps for Kids for more than 30 years. The Peace and Justice Center states that kids need to be accepted as they are and convinced that they are worthy of respect, affection, and dignity. The Center describes Peace Camps for Kids as a way for children to laugh, learn, and play together to reduce prejudice, oppression, resentment, and misunderstanding, and to help them learn to create communities that transcend ethnic, religious, and economic distinctions. The Peace and Justice Center is an interfaith organization created to educate groups and individuals in peaceful ways of resolving conflict, nurture dialogue among diverse groups, and be a partner in the ongoing struggle for human rights and a just world.
