US Club Soccer

US Club Soccer offers Players First, a philosophy that guides the organization, its leadership, and member clubs and leagues. It also offers the National Cup, National Premier Leagues (NPL), local competitive leagues, rec programs, the id2 National Identification and Development Program, Player Development Programs (PDPs), and the National 1 League.

Programs

• Players First — A philosophy that guides US Club Soccer, its leadership, and member clubs and leagues to establish the optimal environment for player development and member experiences.
• National Cup — U-13 through U-18/19 boys and girls age groups · US Club Soccer’s cup championship competition open to all members. The competition includes regional, state and other qualifiers, culminating in the National Cup Finals.
• National Premier Leagues (NPL) — U-13 through U-18/19 boys and girls age groups · A collection of the top US Club Soccer leagues around the country, providing a unified, league-based national platform for long-term player development.
• Local competitive leagues — youth and adult · US Club Soccer sanctions hundreds of leagues throughout the country of various age groups, competitive levels and geographic sizes and areas.
• Rec programs — Participatory-based leagues and programs, primarily in-house or intramural in nature.
• id2 National Identification and Development Program — targeted age groups · Established in 2004 and open to all players regardless of U.S. Soccer affiliation or lack thereof.
• Player Development Programs (PDPs) — Regionally-based identification and developmental programs conducted under the id2 Program umbrella and focused around the NPLs in specific geographic areas.
• National 1 League — The top team-based competition in US Club Soccer and US Youth Soccer, beginning 2026-27.
