About
Snapology STEAM Programs (Robotics, Coding & Technology Classes and Camps) include activities such as robotics, coding, animation, Star Wars Challenge, Engineering Challenge, Robot Challenge, and Amusement Park Adventures Engineering. Children build and program robotic models that move, make sounds, respond to sensors, and more, and build robots using LEGO bricks and simple remotes and sensors to complete different challenges. They also write, direct, and edit movies using LEGO bricks and stop-motion animation software, design custom light sabers to withstand several Jedi challenges, and build coasters and other rides with motors using LEGO bricks and other building materials while exploring robotics, coding, and design challenges using LEGO bricks, K’Nex, and technology.

Snapology provides year-round STEAM learning programs that use fun, hands-on activities to teach Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. The programs are available in schools, community facilities, homes, and Discovery Centers, and are offered as after-school programs, summer camps, workshops, field trips, birthday parties, assemblies, and custom events. Classes are designed based on research that shows children’s best learning experiences come from actively designing, creating, interacting, and inventing, and a dedicated Snapologist teaches students as they work in pairs to promote team building. Snapology emphasizes building confidence through hands-on learning and learning through play, and offers interactive STEM/STEAM programs for children featuring technology and popular building toys.
Snapology offers programs for schools, homeschool groups, and scouts, and hosts community-based classes at local facilities and special events for schools and groups. Scout programs can be adapted to fit scout groups and designed to accomplish desired goals or achieve scouting pins, badges, or awards, and Snapology helps scouts work towards badges, pins, and awards and offers a Snapology STEM/STEAM patch at an additional cost. Girl Scout STEM badge programs are tailored to ensure each step toward earning a badge is met and exceeded.
One parent described a “wonderful” Snapology school field trip where students were engaged the entire time, learning hands-on while having fun. Another parent reported hosting a 6th birthday party at Snapology and said it was perfect for their group, and another described it as a “wonderful birthday party.”
