Theatre Arlington A.C.T.S. (Adult & Children’s Theatre School) is part of a year-round theater school that is connected to Theatre Arlington’s ongoing theatrical productions. The program is associated with Theatre Arlington’s outreach programs for at-risk youth and its Summer Camp, which was a Finalist in the 2022 Best Of issue of Arlington Today. Theatre Arlington presents theatrical productions to more than 30,000 patrons each season, and the school operates within this established theater setting.

For 51 years, Theatre Arlington has provided the community with high-quality, award-winning theatrical productions. The organization’s mission is to enhance the quality of life in North Texas by presenting superior, diverse artistic experiences through performance, production and education. Theatre Arlington runs outreach programs for at-risk youth as part of its community involvement.
The leadership team includes Executive Producer Steven D. Morris, Business Manager Cindy Honeycutt, Education & Outreach Director Janette Robinson, Sales and Marketing Director Hannah Bell, Front of House Manager Gary Williams, Production Manager / Stage Manager Maria Leon Hickox, Assistant Education and Outreach Director Javier Casablanca, Technical Director Bryan Stevenson, and Facilities Manager Colin Wintersole. Staff credentials include Cathy O’Neal, a former stage manager at Theatre Arlington who became a professional Actors’ Equity stage manager and worked for regional theaters across the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex for 22 years; Denise Lee, an award-winning singer and actress and founder and executive producer of the Denise Lee Onstage Cabaret Series and the Dallas Cabaret Festival; and Cheryl Ford-Mente, who has an acting degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.
The Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce named Theatre Arlington as the Small Business Non-Profit of the Year for 2022. Arlington Today readers voted Theatre Arlington's Summer Camp as a Finalist in the 2022 Best Of issue.
