Barça Academy US offers development soccer programs, competitive soccer programs, an internal league, external competitive games, US Club and USYS tournaments, league participation with regular competition, internal games and friendlies, a technical program, a pre academy program, a goalkeeper program with reduced groups, soccer camps, and international travel to Barcelona. The program also runs the Barça Academy Internal League as part of its activities.

Barça Academy US is the official soccer school of FC Barcelona and the official FC Barcelona training program in the United States, and it is the only official FC Barcelona Soccer Academy in Texas that offers development and competitive soccer programs for boys and girls aged from 4 to 18, following the guidelines of FC Barcelona and implementing Barça’s soccer methodology, coaching style, and core values. Barça Academy US will follow the same structure, operations, training sessions, and methodology from FC Barcelona’s first team and youth academy, and a Technical Director from the club is responsible for implementing the technical, tactical, physical, and physiological training aspects throughout the entire season. The program targets boys and girls between the ages of six and eighteen, divides players into teams by level and age, and offers open access with no tryouts required for the Pre Academy Program and Technical Program. Official FC Barcelona Coaches and Technical Directors from Barcelona move to the United States for the entire year to conduct the weekly training sessions, and the program runs year round to train and compete at the highest level. The stated main goal of Barça Academy is to give players around the world the opportunity to learn the methodologies and values of FC Barcelona, including the values summarized as HEART – Humility, Effort, Ambition, Respect, and Teamwork. The leadership team includes Directors Guillermo Cabrera, Xavi Pérez, and Gaizka Redondo, and Head Coaches Angie Jessica Cortez, Manuel Garcia, Carlo Sanchez, Joshua Zapata, Xavi Tallant, Moi Munoz, Alvaro Ruiz, Laureano Martinez, David Cots, Jerry Taylor, Carlos Arana, and Juan Bocanegra.
