First Foundations Preschool offers creative learning through centers, group time, and hands-on activities. The program also includes special music classes and special Spanish classes as part of its regular activities.

First Foundations Preschool is a faith-based, Christ-centered preschool with a stated goal of providing a Christ centered, loving and supportive environment for children. Its curriculum is described as designed to encourage and enhance every area of a child's growth and development, and it uses A Beka, a phonics-based program, as the academic curriculum. The preschool focuses on nurturing and teaching children from the ages of three to five and reports operating at full capacity, providing education for over 300 children with 34 active team members. Since opening in 1999, it reports 26 years open, more than 3,500 students through its doors, over 100,000 hugs and kisses, and 13 classroom mascots.
The founder and director is Steffani Wilkins, who serves as the Director of First Foundations Preschool. The preschool states that its heart is to be an integral part of families in Northwest Austin, Cedar Park, and the surrounding areas, and notes that school enrollment has grown based mainly on word-of-mouth referrals. First Foundations is gearing up for the 2026–2027 school year, with registration now open, and offers both virtual and in-person tours.
