About
T&C Sports Youth Sports Programs offers activities in baseball, basketball, flag football, lacrosse, soccer, softball, volleyball, futsal, and kickball. The program also includes a Girls Olympic Sports Camp, an Everton FC Soccer Camp, and the Help Every Kid Play Golf Tournament.
• Schedule: Office hours Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm; phones are answered or returned between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, and calls received after 2:00 pm on Friday are returned on Monday.
The KMAC (Kathy Manning Athletic Center) is a 40,700-square-foot indoor sports facility that will feature indoor basketball, volleyball, and futsal courts and will be used year-round for practices, games, camps, training, and competitions. Fields 32, 35, 36 and the surrounding area are currently fenced off and closed as this part of the campus is an active construction site.
T&C Sports is operated by the Town and Country Optimist Club, a nonprofit organization, with support from the T&C Optimist Foundation. The club was originally founded in 1974 by a group of North Austin parents, and T&C Sports is celebrating 50 years of youth sports. T&C Sports promotes the ideals of Optimist International and supports youth development through selected youth-oriented community programs and initiatives. Funds raised from the Help Every Kid Play golf tournament go to help T&C get kids playing sports who otherwise could not afford to participate.
The stated mission of T&C Sports is to provide children with opportunities to build confidence, character, teamwork and lifelong healthy habits through youth sports, to help kids play fun, safe and affordable team sports, and to reinforce the lifetime values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and fitness. T&C’s goals include providing opportunities for all who wish to participate and fostering an environment of learning, teamwork and sportsmanship in every activity. Volunteer coaches are described as the heart of Town & Country Sports.
Coach David Sandoval is part of the leadership team and was named the 2026 San Antonio Spurs Jr. NBA Community Coach of the Year. One parent describes Coach Dustin as prepared, making practice fun while the kids are learning, and offering lessons from baseball that children can use as they grow older, such as “flushing away” bad moments so they do not get overwhelmed when things do not go as planned.
