T&C Sports offers youth sports programs that include Baseball, Basketball, Flag Football, Lacrosse, Soccer, Softball, Volleyball, Futsal, Kickball, a Girls Olympic Sports Camp, and an Everton FC Soccer Camp. The program also runs seasonal options such as Fall Baseball, Fall NFL Flag Football, Fall Kickball, Fall Rec Soccer, Fall Softball, and Fall Girls Volleyball, along with the Help Every Kid Play Golf Tournament.
• Schedule: Office hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm, and phones are answered or returned between 10:00am and 2:00pm, with calls received after 2:00pm on Friday returned on Monday.
T&C Sports is operated by the Town and Country Optimist Club, a nonprofit organization that serves Austin-area youth through sports and community programs, with support from the T&C Optimist Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The club was originally founded in 1974 by a group of North Austin parents, and T&C Sports has been serving Austin-area youth for more than 50 years. Its stated mission is to help kids play fun, safe and affordable team sports and to reinforce the lifetime values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and fitness, with goals that include participation for all who wish to join and an environment of learning, teamwork, and sportsmanship in every activity. T&C Sports uses the slogan “Play Hard – Play Fair – Have Fun,” describes itself as “YOUR HOME FOR YOUTH SPORTS,” and states that it wants every kid to play regardless of income or ability.
Volunteer coaches are described by T&C Sports as the heart of the program, and the leadership team includes Coach David Sandoval, who was named the 2026 San Antonio Spurs Jr. NBA Community Coach of the Year, and Coach Dustin, a volunteer coach at Town & Country Sports. T&C emphasizes developing good character and sportsmanship, with expectations for all adults to demonstrate respect and positive behavior on the field, in the stands, and in parking lots. One parent shared that “Coach Dustin always has a huge smile on his face, and you can tell he truly cares about the kids,” noting that he comes prepared with a coaching plan, makes practice fun while keeping kids interested, and shares lessons from baseball that the kids can use as they grow older.
T&C Sports is currently developing the KMAC (Kathy Manning Athletic Center), a 40,700-square-foot indoor sports facility that will feature indoor basketball, volleyball, and futsal courts and will provide year-round opportunities for practices, games, camps, training, and competitions. Fields 32, 35, 36 and the surrounding area are fenced off and closed because this part of the campus is an active construction site. T&C also supports youth development through selected youth-oriented community programs and initiatives, and the “Help Every Kid Play” golf tournament funds a scholarship program for kids who need financial help to play sports at T&C; for this tournament, T&C provides lunch, practice range access, awards, goody bags, and a fun atmosphere for a team scramble round of golf.
