Swim School of Austin offers baby swim lessons, kids swim lessons, junior swim lessons, adult swim lessons, program-based swim lessons, and general swim classes. The program also offers Baby and Me classes. Each lesson is 30 minutes long.

• Schedule: Swim office hours are Tuesday–Friday in the afternoon and early evening, and Saturday early afternoon, with each lesson lasting 30 minutes.

The program follows a mission that swim lessons are taught year-round like other sports or extracurricular activities, with skills and advancement based on each student’s proficiency. Swim School of Austin uses the Swim School International (SSI) training program and is described as a Top Rated Austin Swim School. The program offers perpetual swim lessons where swimmers progress based on age and abilities, with water safety included in every lesson. Most classes have a maximum of four students, advanced classes have a maximum of six students, and Baby and Me classes have a maximum of six participants, and all advanced students swim almost the entire class session. Teachers use the GOLD SCRIPT©, which is a set of detailed lesson plans with skills that progress in small increments each week. The school offers a variety of swim times including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, the option to schedule a courtesy lesson for qualified absences, and a “Bring a Friend” referral program that allows swimmers to earn free lessons.
Swimmers under 3 years old are required to have a non-disposable swim diaper, and the school sells swim diapers in the front office. Swim goggles are recommended for all ages and required for more advanced swimmers, and goggles in different sizes and colors are available in the office. Enrollment in lessons requires auto-pay, billing for the following month occurs on the 25th of the current month, current month classes are pro-rated at the time of enrollment, and notice of un-enrollment for the following month must be received by the 15th of the current month to prevent billing, with a $20 cancellation fee if cancellation occurs after the 15th.
