CG Victory is a faith-based summer camp program that describes itself as more than just another summer camp. It offers a Christ-centered community with ALL-STAR counselors and is open to campers of all athletic levels and interests. It is an Austin-based youth adventure camp and also operates as a Scholarship Camp.
• Ages: 6–13 years old
All of the staff at CG Victory have been hired because of their dedication to Christ, extensive experience with youth, and strong academic backgrounds. The program’s mission states that youth everywhere should experience a fun, life-changing, Christ-centered community with ALL-STAR counselors, at convenient locations, for an affordable price. CG Victory notes that sponsorship helps maximize the program’s impact, and donations help provide scholarships to at-risk youth. The organization also offers the option to host a CG Victory event at a school, church, business, or other setting.
One parent from DFW shared that her daughter was built up by her counselors each day over a week at CG Victory and that her daughter learned confidence, teamwork, and the importance of serving others, describing the camp as being about becoming a better version of oneself, positively impacting others, and growing in Jesus. Another parent from Austin said the benefits of the camp are immeasurable, emphasizing that kids need play and competition and that the counselors and leaders bring energy and passion every day, with positive energy that felt infectious. A staff member, Meaghan “Glow” Co, said she loves working with CG Victory because the energetic atmosphere at camp is unlike any other and that, although she wanted to make a difference for her campers and give them the best summer ever, they were the ones who made a difference in her life and gave her a summer she will never forget.
