Hermann Sons Life Camp offers a week-long camp experience where campers spend their days doing activities ranging from crafts to sports. During their week-long adventure at Hilltop Camp, campers participate in a variety of fun and challenging activities under the caring guidance of trained staff. Campers and counselors live in air-conditioned cabins that include showers, toilets, and sinks, and meals are served cafeteria-style in air-conditioned dining halls, with campers sitting with their dorm roommates for all meals.

Hermann Sons Life Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association. The camp is part of Hermann Sons Life, a not-for-profit fraternal organization that has been strengthening community since 1861 and has a 160-year history of serving tens of thousands of Texans of all ages. Counselors are mainly college students, with others coming from overseas, and campers participate under the caring guidance of trained staff. Hermann Sons Life members gain access to benefits that include this summer camp, a dance program, a discount program, and more. The Hilltop site facilities are also available for group rentals. The mission of Hermann Sons Life Camp is to provide a quality, safe, and caring summer camp program that develops healthy friendships and enriches the lives of both campers and staff by fostering self-esteem and independence through exposure to new experiences, group living, and play.
