Hermann Sons Life Camp

Hermann Sons Life Camp offers a week-long summer camp program where campers spend their days doing activities ranging from crafts to sports. Campers participate in a variety of fun and challenging activities under the guidance of trained staff. Campers and counselors live in air-conditioned cabins that include showers, toilets, and sinks, and meals are served cafeteria-style in air-conditioned dining halls, with campers sitting with their dorm roommates for all meals.

Hermann Sons Life operates a nonprofit, coed summer camp program and offers several summer session options. Hermann Sons Life Camp is available to members ages 7 to 14 as of Sept. 1 of the camp year and is a member benefit associated with life insurance or annuity products. Counselors are mainly college students, with additional staff coming from overseas. Hermann Sons Life Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association. The organization has been strengthening community since 1861, and in its rich 160-year history has served tens of thousands of Texans of all ages. Built on a foundation of mutual aid, community involvement, and caring for others, Hermann Sons Life members volunteer hundreds of hours and donate thousands of dollars each year to people and organizations in their communities.
