UTRGV Summer Camps offer STEM programs, art programs, and fitness programs. The summer camps are tailored for children in kindergarten through 12th grade. The camps go beyond education and entertainment to ignite creativity, nurture passions, and cultivate a sense of community.

UTRGV notes that it brings education, healthcare, and research to communities in Edinburg, Brownsville, Rio Grande City, McAllen, Weslaco, Harlingen, Laredo, Port Isabel, and South Padre Island. UTRGV is the only university in Texas with both a School of Medicine and a School of Podiatric Medicine, and its Robert C. Vackar College of Business and Entrepreneurship is accredited by AACSB International (AACSB).
