The Children’s College Learning Center offers curriculum-driven learning in a clean and safe environment with secure entry systems. Facilities are described as secure while also stimulating curiosity and exploration, and the program is described as more than a daycare, with a focus on being a community for children and families. The center provides comprehensive child care services including Nursery (2 months–24 months), Pre K2 to Pre K4, and school age care for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade.

The Children’s College Learning Center states a mission to nurture the potential within each child through a holistic approach to early childhood education, with attention to intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development from the earliest years. The program uses an engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and follows a Whole Child approach that includes intellectual, social, emotional, and physical domains. Teacher-to-child ratios adhere to or never exceed state guidelines, and a Health and Nutrition Coordinator works with families to address children’s dietary needs and restrictions.
The leadership team includes Founder Yvonne Morales, M.Ed., and Director Yocelin Lara. The founder holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English, a minor in Psychology, and a Master’s in School Guidance and Counseling from The University of Texas Pan American. The educators are CPR/First Aid certified and receive continuous training in early childhood education, and the team reports having over 20 years of expertise in early childhood development.
The center describes a strong parent/teacher relationship with open communication and active family involvement. It serves families in Edinburg and the broader Rio Grande Valley community and is described as empowering the Rio Grande Valley’s young minds and nurturing Edinburg’s future leaders.
