EPMA Art School is connected with the El Paso Museum of Art and its supporting foundation. The program is part of a museum that offers free admission at all times.
The El Paso Museum of Art Foundation was founded in 1998. The mission of the Foundation is to support the El Paso Museum of Art and its exhibitions, programming and outreach by raising funds for its permanent endowment. The El Paso Museum of Art Foundation is committed to celebrating the El Paso Museum of Art as the cultural flagship of the community and a premiere center for local, regional, national and international art and artists. The EPMA Foundation is a Texas Non-Profit Corporation and a 501(c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code. Admission to the museum is free, and charitable giving to EPMA through the EPMA Foundation is tax-deductible. Contributions are recognized on the EPMA website and in print, and exceptional support is recognized on the donor wall in the museum’s main lobby, which is updated annually. A board of El Paso citizens governs the EPMA Foundation, with support from committees for development, planned giving and investment. The leadership team includes Edward Hayes, Jr., EPMA Director, and Ben Fyffe, Managing Director, Quality of Life, City of El Paso Museums & Cultural Affairs Department.
