Fab Lab El Paso K-12 STEAM Programs offers activities in STEAM education that include 3D printing and modeling, coding and robotics, and animation and storytelling. The program also includes family events, community events, community programs, meetups and socials, special events, and participation in challenges such as the Autodesk Accessibility Makeathon Assistive Device Challenge and the Congressional App Challenge. The program takes part in conference exhibitions and offers professional development connected to its K-12 STEAM focus, with hands-on digital fabrication experiences using tools such as FDM and SLA 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC machining, 3D scanning, and VR/AR, and it connects K-12 STEM pathways with the future of advanced manufacturing through K-career pathway innovation and a STEAM makerspace in the clouds at La Nube Makerspace.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Open Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Saturdays by appointment
• Price: Programs that are funded through grants and sponsorships are 100% free to the community; fabrication services and educational programs are priced competitively, and some 501(c)3 nonprofit institutions qualify for in-kind matching.

Fab Lab El Paso K-12 STEAM Programs is part of Fab Lab El Paso, an award-winning 501(c)3 tech and education nonprofit organization headquartered in El Paso, Texas. Fab Lab El Paso is the K-12 program of the parent organization, Tech Frontier, which is supported by partners and funders for 2026. The Fab Lab serves the local community as a resource center for design fabrication, a digital innovation resource, and STEM education support for institutions serving K–12. Its mission is to democratize access to innovation tools, empower underestimated people and communities with digital skills, promote a resilient labor force within the tech economy, and provide underserved communities with resources, technology, and information at a grassroots level.
