Castle Mound Montessori

Castle Mound Montessori offers a classical Montessori curriculum with a dynamic learning environment that includes a wealth of concrete, manipulative learning materials. Children take part in outdoor trips to community places such as the library, botanical garden, factories, hospitals, and science museums, and can join enrichment programs in music, fine arts, foreign language, nature study, and computers. The program also offers extra-curricular activities such as dance (ballet/tap), private piano, private Spanish, basketball, and soccer.

Castle Mound Montessori has offered an authentic Montessori learning environment since 2008, with several programs for each age group and year-round options for infants, toddlers, primary (including preschool and kindergarten), and elementary age children. The school includes an indoor gymnasium, computer lab, music room, library, and covered play areas, along with newly built, modern facilities and a security monitoring system. The program is led by AMS / AMI Certified Teachers, and classrooms include mixed-age primary groups from three to six years. Castle Mound Montessori School serves the Flower Mound community and surrounding areas including Argyle, Bartonville, Lantana, Coppell, Lewisville, Highland Village, Trophy Club, Little Elm, Double Oak, and Bridlewood.
