The Yellow Door Studio Youth Art Programs

The Yellow Door Studio Youth Art Programs include activities such as Drop-In Pottery, Drop-In Wineglass Painting, Paint & Sip, Pottery Painting, Wine Glass Painting, Private Parties, an Oyster Ring Shell Holder Party, Silversmithing, After School Kids Classes, and a Leatherworking Class. The program uses two studios, with one focused on pottery and wineglass painting and the other used for weekly Paint & Sips, private canvas painting parties, kids’ events, and hands-on workshops. BYOB is always welcome for eligible participants, and gift cards are available.

• Schedule: Drop-In Pottery or Drop-In Wineglass Painting is offered on Fridays from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM with last seating at 5:30 PM, on Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM with last seating at 3:30 PM, and on Sundays from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM with last seating at 3:30 PM.

The stated mission is that the program believes every child is an artist and strives to be a safe encouraging space to let a child’s creativity flourish. One testimonial notes that the art instructor is patient and knowledgeable of her audience, and that the group had a great time painting a seascape scene and felt the instructor was respectful of all levels of experience. The program has a cancellation policy that requires 12 hours’ notice by email or phone to receive a credit for a future class, and it does not offer refunds.
