Gracie Barra Fulshear is rooted in the global legacy established by Master Carlos Gracie Jr. in 1986 and follows the philosophy of “Jiu-Jitsu for Everyone,” viewing the gentle art as a tool for self-defense, personal growth, character building, and life improvement. The program serves the Greater Fulshear Area, including neighbors near Weston Lakes, Simonton, and Fulbrook. Students in these programs gain access to more than 1,000 Gracie Barra schools worldwide, professional-grade Jiu-Jitsu equipment, and online resources to enhance training, with a structured curriculum and beginner-friendly classes where no experience is needed.

Every Gracie Barra school is supervised by a certified Gracie Barra instructor, and the leadership team at this program includes Professor Daniel Vitti, a 3rd-Degree Black Belt and school leader; Professor Michele, a Black Belt; Coach Noah, a purple belt; Coach Nika, a blue belt; Coach Bill, a purple belt; and Coach Matt, a brown belt and founding member of Gracie Barra Fulshear. Professor Daniel Vitti is the only Brazilian 3rd-Degree Black Belt in the area and holds certifications from the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) and the Gracie Barra organization, with achievements that include 2015 Estate Champion, 2015 National Champion, 2015 World Black Belt Championship champion, 2016 Belo Horizonte open champion, 2016 New York open absolute champion, 2018 Austin Open champion, and 13 silver and bronze medals in IBJJF tournaments from 2016 to 2021.
