Journey Gymnastics offers gymnastics, trampoline and tumbling, ninja classes, dance, ballet, swimming lessons, Jujitsu, and beginning gymnastics classes. The program also offers Ninja Zone classes, open gym, after school enrichment, summer camps, camps, birthday parties, and parties. Additional sports activities at Journey Gymnastics include softball, soccer, and basketball.

Journey Gymnastics offers a variety of programs for children 18 months to 17 years, including gymnastics, tumbling and trampoline, ninja, dance, swimming lessons, after school enrichment, open gym, summer camps, and birthday parties. Terek and Richelle Brown have owned Journey Gymnastics since July of 2015. The leadership team includes Owner/Head Coach Terek Brown, Owner/Office Manager Richelle Brown, Office/Gym Assistant Sheryl, Head Ninja Zone Coach/Assistant Coach Alison, Coach Scottie, Ninja Coach Reece, Assistant Coach Tina, Coach Michelle, and After School Coach Felicia. Owner/Head Coach Terek has been coaching gymnastics for 19 years and at the competitive level for 13 years, and Coach Scottie was a member of the Junior Olympic National Team, was named to Team USA, and competed internationally representing the United States in Poland. The program’s mission is to share its passion for gymnastics and to positively influence the community around it, and Terek and Richelle are described as having a great passion for gymnastics and the Georgetown community.
One parent, M. Gomez, reports that their children take trampoline and tumbling, gymnastics, ballet, swimming, and Jujitsu at Journey Gymnastics and participate in after school pick up, and states that the children look forward to going every day and that all of their sports are completed before evening family time. Another parent, K. Bell, describes Journey Gymnastics as an exceptional experience from start to finish and credits Coach Terek with helping a daughter become confident, hardworking, and dedicated in addition to being a great gymnast. A parent identified as “A happy Mom,” Kristin K. Hart, shares that a 4-year-old son has been enrolled in both the beginning gymnastics class and the Ninja Zone class and reports improvements in core strength, attention, sensory processing, balance, and emotional growth related to fear and anxiety, and describes the staff and coaches as awesome with strong knowledge and ability to relate to children of all abilities. Seaman, describes a morning gymnastics class as a “GODSEND” for a high-energy child named Roscoe and states that Coach Terek and Coach Alison have been awesome, that Roscoe learns a lot and uses a lot of energy each week, and that the family is excited to spend many years at the gym.
