Journey Gymnastics

Journey Gymnastics offers Parent and Tot classes for 18 months to 2 years, Preschool for 3 to 4 1/2 years, Kinder Gym for 4 1/2 to 5 years, and Boys and Girls Recreational Gymnastics for ages 6 and older. It also offers Ninja Zone, Tumbling and Trampoline Recreational, Dance, After School Pick-up Program, Summer Adventure Camp, Team Gymnastics, Tumbling and Trampoline Team, and Birthday Parties.

Programs

• Parent and Tot — 18 months - 2 years · Parent and child class focused on strength, flexibility, motor skills, and social skills in a fun and safe environment.
• Preschool — 3 - 4 1/2 years · Designed for potty-trained children ready to experience class on their own; focuses on social, emotional, physical, and developmental growth.
• Kinder Gym — 4 1/2 – 5 years · Older preschool class that teaches basic gymnastics skills, positions, and good form to build strength, coordination, and agility.
• Boys and Girls Recreational Gymnastics (Levels 1 - 4) — 6 years and older · Recreational gymnastics program teaching fundamentals including balance, strength, conditioning, and coordination.
• Ninja Zone — 3-11 · Skill-based, fast-paced program with obstacle courses, gymnastics tumbling, and ninja-style moves.
• Team Gymnastics — Premier competitive gymnastics program; offers USAG and Xcel competitive team.
• Tumbling and Trampoline Recreational — 6 to 17 · Co-ed recreational classes for power tumbling skills and techniques on tumbling floor, trampoline, and double mini trampoline.
• Tumbling and Trampoline Team — Competitive trampoline and tumbling team for beginner to advanced athletes.
• Dance — 2+ · Dance classes through an association with Dance Empower; classes include combo, ballet, jazz, tap and pointe.
• After School Pick-up Program — After school enrichment with van pickup from select Georgetown schools; children can enroll in gymnastics, tramp and tumbling, dance, Ninja Zone or Jiu-Jitsu.
• Summer Adventure Camp — 5-12 · Full day camp during spring break and summer with activities including field trips, dodgeball, crafts, bowling, swimming, gymnastics, and Ninja Zone.

About the provider

Terek and Richelle have owned Journey Gymnastics since July 2015. The leadership team includes Terek Brown, Owner/Head Coach; Richelle Brown, Owner/Office Manager; Sheryl, Office/Gym Assistant; Alison, Head Ninja Zone Coach/Assistant Coach; Scottie, Coach; Reece, Ninja Coach; Tina, Assistant Coach; Michelle, Coach; and Felicia, After School Coach. The program states that its mission is to share its passion of gymnastics and positively influence the community around it.

• Birthday Parties — Parties include 1 hour 30 minutes of fun, gym time, party room time, a birthday coach, cleanup, juice pouch, and t-shirt for the birthday child.
