Allaso Ranch Summer Camps include activities such as zip lines, ziplines over the lake, a water park with a lazy river and slides, team competitions, horseback riding, hiking trails, a high ropes course, outdoor education, late-night talks, and worship. Allaso Ranch is a ministry of Fellowship Church, and every program is built around helping people encounter Jesus and leave changed. Staff, including cabin counselors and retreat coordinators, are background-checked and trained, and staff are described as genuinely invested. The leadership team includes Ed Young and Lisa Young as Lead Pastors of Fellowship Church, and Kevin and Heather Ballard as Directors of Allaso Ranch.
Allaso Ranch has been serving families, churches, and schools since 2008, and it has been serving for almost two decades. It offers year-round programs for churches, groups, and schools, including day trips and overnight programs for K–12 outdoor education, and it partners with Texas schools to provide hands-on outdoor education. Churches, ministries, and organizations use Allaso Ranch for retreats, conferences, and group events year-round, and thousands have made important decisions in its state-of-the-art auditorium.
Parent and camper feedback includes comments such as “Best camp and Retreat Center.” One camper, Aiden, shared that after three years of attending, inviting his best friend and experiencing the worship and challenges together made it “the best place” he has ever been. A trainer named Marlaina described a camper who started the week very shy and, through her time at camp and with her cabin, “has just come to life,” made friends, and been accepted.
