About
Allaso Ranch Summer Camps offer overnight Christian camps where kids and students take part in activities such as zip lines, a high ropes course, a zip line over the lake, water parks, team competitions, late-night talks, worship, horseback riding, and hiking trails. Campers use a water park with a lazy river and slides as part of the program. The camp also hosts outdoor education, retreats, conferences, and group events throughout the year.
• Ages: 7–17 years old
• Schedule: A week sessions
Allaso Ranch Summer Camps are a ministry of Fellowship Church and feature Christ-centered worship and Christ-like counselors. The program has been serving families from across Texas and beyond since 2008 and has offered summer camps for more than 18 years. Background-checked and trained staff lead the program, and Kevin Ballard brings a background in world-class hospitality from his years with Gaylord Hotels. The leadership team includes Ed and Lisa Young, Lead Pastors of Fellowship Church, and Kevin and Heather Ballard, Directors of Allaso Ranch. Everything at Allaso Ranch follows the mission of creating space for people to encounter Jesus and leave changed.
Allaso Ranch partners with Texas schools to provide hands-on outdoor education, including day trips and overnight programs for K–12, with curriculum designed to extend classroom learning into the real world. Churches, ministries, and organizations also use Allaso Ranch year-round for retreats, conferences, and group events, supported by lodging for 50–500 guests, full-service catering, flexible meeting spaces, and a state-of-the-art auditorium where thousands have made significant decisions in their lives.
Parent and camper feedback includes comments such as “Best camp and Retreat Center.” One camper, Aiden, shared that after three years of attending, inviting a best friend made it “amazing — just him experiencing the worship and the challenges and everything we do here,” and called it “the best place I’ve ever been.” A trainer named Marlaina described a camper who started the week very shy and, through the camp experience and her cabin, made friends and “has just come to life,” saying, “This is what Allaso does.”
