Albion Hurricanes FC (AHFC) Youth Soccer Programs include youth soccer, soccer camps, the Junior Hurricanes Recreational Program (JHSL), and the 5v5 Small Sided Soccer League (SSDL). The programs also include elite competition platforms such as Girls and Boys ECNL National and Regional League competitions, as well as the USL Academy Program and tournaments and showcases across the nation. AHFC features a yearly college night to help educate players in the recruiting process.

Albion Hurricanes FC (AHFC) was formed in 2000 after a merger of Albion Youth FC, established in 1996 in Spring Branch, and Hurricanes Soccer Club, established in 1989 in Bear Creek, and the club describes its history as 25+ years. The Junior Hurricanes Recreational Program was established in 2003, and over time AHFC has added multiple programs and locations, including the West Campus at Katy Park in 2009, the Northwest (Cy-Fair) Program at Schiel Road in 2014, the Southwest (New Territory) Program at New Territory Sports Complex in 2015, and the Golden Triangle Program in Beaumont in 2023. AHFC joined the Girls ECNL National Platform in 2012, the Boys ECNL National Platform as a founder member in 2017, the Girls ECNL Regional League Platform as a founder member in 2020, and the Boys ECNL Regional League Platform as a founder member in 2021.
The club’s mission is to produce hard working, skillful, technical players through three phases: Foundation, Development, and Advancement, and it states that this mission promotes a culture of excellence guiding staff and players. The mission describes an environment created by experienced experts working together in a multidisciplinary support program, with an elite environment intended for players with exceptional work ethic, encouraging creativity and individual excellence. The mission also states that understanding the player as a person beyond what is shown on the pitch is a driving factor, allowing for individualized support and development plans.
AHFC states that it focuses on creating a positive, player focused environment that provides quality soccer instruction to all young men and women in the community, regardless of ability, gender, or socioeconomic background, and describes itself as more than a soccer club and as a community. The club states that its ambition is to create the best “youth to pro” soccer club in the US with clear links and connection to the community, and that it has a network reaching all levels of collegiate soccer. The program leadership team includes Daniel Hill (ENCL/ENCL RL Program Director), Gus Mota (Girls ECNL/ECNL RL Director), Michael Terrell (Boys ECNL/ECNL RL Director), Mark Rufo (Southwest & West Program Director), Gregg Munslow (Central & Cy-Fair Program Director), Thomas Shenton (East Program Director), and Mark Horton (General Manager). AHFC states that its staff coaches are professional, loyal, and committed to the club, and that staff members are knowledgeable and hard-working with an understanding and love for the game and the players in the club.

The club reports 5,500 players, 7 facilities, 20,000+ followers, and describes its facilities as best in class, #1 in the state, and top 10 in the US, and its administration and support as award winning and professional grade. AHFC youth teams have performed in front of as many as 30,000 people, and AHFC and its players have traveled internationally to compete against teams from Russia, Estonia, Holland, England, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Norway, El Salvador, and Bolivia.
The AHFC Royals franchises extend the pathway, with the men’s and women’s teams formed in 2017, the men’s team joining USL2 (formerly PDL) in 2018, and the women’s team joining WPSL in 2018. The AHFC Royals were accepted into the USL Academy Program in 2020, with the USL Academy Program League Format commencing in 2021. The AHFC Royals Women were Texas Conference Champions and National quarter finalists in 2022, 2023, and 2024, and the AHFC Royals Men were Texas Conference Champions and National quarter finalists in 2023 and Texas Conference Runner Up and National quarter finalists in 2024.
