Established in 2000, Albion Hurricanes FC (AHFC) states that it focuses on creating a positive, player-focused environment that provides quality soccer instruction to young men and women in its community, regardless of ability, gender, or socioeconomic background. The club describes a development pathway for each player with no limitations other than the player’s own ability and aspirations, and identifies its primary goal as helping shape the character of its players while offering pathways through its elite youth program to AHFC Royals. The elite program mission is organized around three phases—Foundation, Development, and Advancement—and is described as promoting a culture of excellence that guides staff and player actions, with an environment intended to encourage creativity, individual excellence, and individualized development plans.

The club reports that its professional staff coaches are highly motivated to develop each player and team, and describes its staff as professional, loyal, committed to the club, knowledgeable, and hard-working, with an understanding and love for the game and the players. The leadership team includes Daniel Hill (ENCL/ENCL RL Program Director), Gus Mota (Girls ECNL/ECNL RL Director), Michael Terrell (Boys ECNL/ECNL RL Director), Mark Rufo (Southwest & West Program Director), Gregg Munslow (Central & Cy-Fair Program Director), Thomas Shenton (East Program Director), and Mark Horton (General Manager).

Albion Hurricanes FC (AHFC) describes itself as more than a soccer club and as a community, and notes that its players have traveled internationally, including players working with English professional club Reading FC, and have also hosted international clubs in Houston. The club states that it has established a strong reputation with college coaches and is known as one of the top clubs nationally because of student athletes who have gone on to play at the college level. AHFC highlights a yearly college night, college-bound player information available on CaptainU, and a network that reaches NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, and junior college levels, as well as boys and girls teams that perform at top tournaments and showcases across the nation, personal invitations to college coaches to watch players, and players who have competed in front of as many as 30,000 people. The program also offers a text service for field status and updates and outlines a resolution path that moves from staff coach to campus director, then program director, and finally general manager.
