Bastion Kickboxing offers a Kid's Program for ages 7 to 11 and a Teen Program for ages 12 to 15. The Kid's Program includes a more robust self-defense curriculum and work on how to mitigate bullies, while the Teen Program includes boxing fundamentals, Kickboxing, and Muay Thai methodologies.

About the provider
Bastion’s Head Instructor is Mr. Hottle, and Cole Hottle is Head Coach. Mr. Hottle began his martial arts journey in 1987. He trained in modern combatives and defense programs as a member of the Department of Defense, instructed martial arts for two other franchises before becoming Head Instructor for Bastion Kickboxing, and has served as a referee and judging official for tournaments. The mission statement says the programs teach unique self-defense skills, build self-confidence, and provide physical activity in a fun and rewarding manner, and that the programs aim to be as convenient as possible for parents.
A 14-day trial is offered for $35. The kids' program requires each child to confidently distinguish left from right before beginning. Training uses partner drills and teamwork. Students are expected to bring effort and engagement; laziness has no place in the gym. Stepping into the ring is never mandatory. It is veteran-owned and operated.
