About
Elite University Summer Camps offers a wide range of hands-on camps, including Water Sports Camp, Camp Outback, Culinary Arts Camp, Veterinary Science Camp, Contemporary Art Camp, Aerospace Engineering Camp, Game Building and Coding Camp, Digital Movie Makers Camp, Camp Mix: Fan Favorites, and Camp Wildheart. Campers take part in activities in nature, science, arts, technology, and exploration through themed activities, creative projects, group challenges, and field trips. The program also includes musical theatre camp, visual and performing arts, medical science, athletics, STEM, and culinary arts, with experts in each field brought together with educational curriculum and field trips.

Elite University Summer Camps was founded in 2005 and began with one musical theatre camp before expanding to thirteen educational camp programs. For over 20 years, Elite University Summer Camps has created summer experiences for children and now serves ages 3–13 in Houston communities including River Oaks, Midtown, Memorial, Bellaire, and Sugar Land. The program describes its mission as blending nature, creativity, and STEM-based exploration through hands-on experiences, outdoor discovery, and imaginative play, with programs built around small-group exploration.
Programs are led by professional educators and experienced site directors with professional backgrounds in education, and on-site leadership is present and supervising daily. Staff complete thorough background screening prior to employment, hold CPR and First Aid certification, and participate in annual staff training before each summer season, with directors receiving additional leadership and policy training. The camp maintains a low 10:1 camper-to-staff ratio, with a 7:1 student-to-teacher ratio, a developmentally attuned daily rhythm, early lunch and consistent snack times, a midday reset window, guided transitions, and real camp experiences such as themed weeks, on-site events, and Fun Fridays for ages 3–5, as well as field trips for 5-year-olds and optional field trip participation for 3–4-year-olds.
