Kidventure Camps emphasizes character development, leadership, confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging, with weekly group discussions centered around core values such as trustworthiness and authentic communication. The program maintains a low maximum camper-to-staff ratio of 8:1, uses secure check-in and check-out procedures and allergy management protocols, and provides shaded outdoor areas and hydration stations. Every team member passes comprehensive background checks, receives ongoing training, and all counselors are certified in CPR, First Aid, and emergency response protocols. Kidventure hires, trains, and elevates people who embody high character, emotional intelligence, leadership potential, and genuine care for children, and the organization employs 300+ trained, caring staff.

Kidventure’s mission is to bring children together, help them forge new friendships, and support personal growth journeys, and since 1994 it has provided dynamic and thoughtful children’s programs for thousands of families. The program states that camp gives kids the opportunity to discover their potential, explore the world around them, and develop abilities and character traits that will allow them to be leaders in the future, with the stated goal of growing happy, healthy kids and letting kids be kids while guiding them on the road to becoming great people. Kidventure describes camp as more than just fun, focusing on growth-changing, purposeful experiences.

Kidventure also operates Camp Rainbow Days through its non-profit “Ollie’s Kids,” established in 2022, providing summer camp experiences to children experiencing homelessness. Its curriculum includes service activities such as volunteering at local food pantries and creating snack packs and hygiene kits for homeless individuals, and Kidventure describes itself as a partnership between parents, its staff, and host facilities. Kidventure serves a record number of families at over 31 locations, with Houston having 30+ years of Kidventure presence, 15 area locations, and 80,000 families served.

Overnight and seasonal camp registration is open now, and Summer Camp 2026 registration opens February 4, 2026, with registration for 2026 beginning at 9:00 AM on that date.
