Campers are divided into groups based on age, with the option to group siblings and friends together upon request. Two Splash Days are scheduled during the week on Tuesday and Thursday, weather permitting. Campers are asked to wear athletic clothing with socks and shoes, bring an extra change of clothes, apply sunscreen before drop-off for outdoor activities, and pack a swimsuit or spare clothes that can get wet for Splash Days. Families are asked to send two snacks, a lunch, and a water bottle each day, with backpacks, lunch boxes, and water bottles clearly labeled with the camper’s name, and all food must follow the program’s peanut-free policy. Drop-off is between 9:00am and 9:15am, pick-up is at 3:00pm, and the camp requests advance notice if someone other than the parental guardians listed in the RISE family account will pick up.

RISE describes itself as a one-of-a-kind center for the whole family that brings together athletics and the arts and as a fun, creative environment. Its stated goal is to offer an environment that helps students learn and grow while emphasizing family, friendship, and teamwork, and it describes its space as a safe, welcoming place where peers support and encourage one another. The campus includes The Warehouse, state-of-the-art Ninja Obstacles, cafe-style lobbies, and hands-free water filler stations, and guided tours of the campus are offered. RISE is also described as sharing The Warehouse with the community.

The leadership team includes owners Stephanie Meeks, Ryan Meeks, Brittany Biddle, and Jason Biddle. Stephanie received a scholarship to the University of Iowa and was part of the team’s first appearance at the NCAA championships, and Ryan went on to compete at the University of Iowa.
