Central Texas Theatre Children’s Theatre Program

The Central Texas Theatre Children’s Theatre Program includes Children’s Theatre Audition Workshops as a specific activity. These Children’s Theatre Audition Workshops offer two sessions, one from 9:00am–11:00am and one from 11:30am–1:30pm. The theatre also offers Mainstage Audition Workshops, which have one session from 9:00am–11:00am.

• Schedule: Box office and office hours run Tuesday–Friday from 12:00 pm–6:00 pm, with showtimes on Friday and Saturday from 7:30 pm–10:00 pm and Sunday from 2:30 pm–5:00 pm; audition workshops are scheduled in morning and midday sessions.
• Price: Mainstage Audition Workshops cost $20 to attend, and Children’s Theatre Audition Workshops cost $10 to attend.

Central Texas Theatre, also known as Vive Les Arts Theatre, has been an established community organization since 1976. The organization lists an Executive Director, operations staff, a building caretaker, a bookkeeper, a house manager, and a Board of Directors that includes officers and additional board members. Central Texas Theatre states that it is dedicated to bringing high quality live performances to the Central Texas area, offering programming for adults and families year-round, and to enriching the cultural experience of the citizens of Central Texas through quality presentations. Central Texas Theatre at Vive Les Arts Societe and Vive Les Arts Societe Children’s Theatre are designated by the IRS as 501(c)(3) non-profit incorporations, and the theatre notes that it continues to enrich the community with cultural arts and provides quality, live performance programming for adults and families year-round. The theatre also offers season ticket packages with extra benefits and discounted tickets, business sponsorships and advertising options for different budget sizes, and an audition workshop for every show, and it notes that a preferred hotel offers a preferred corporate rate when requested.
