The Central Texas Theatre Children’s Theatre Program includes Children’s Theatre Audition Workshops, Mainstage Audition Workshops, and an Acting Intensive. The program offers an Audition Workshop for every show, with Children’s Theatre Audition Workshops held in two separate sessions and Mainstage Audition Workshops and the Acting Intensive held in a single morning session.
• Schedule: Mainstage Audition Workshops and the Acting Intensive meet in one session from 9:00am–11:00am; Children’s Theatre Audition Workshops offer two sessions, from 9:00am–11:00am and 11:30am–1:30pm.
• Price: Mainstage Audition Workshops and the Acting Intensive cost $20 per 9:00am–11:00am session; Children’s Theatre Audition Workshops cost $10 per session.
Central Texas Theatre, also known as VLA and formally Vive Les Arts, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) community theatre that offers programming for adults and families year-round. It has been an established community organization since 1976 and is dedicated to excellence in the fine arts and to enriching the cultural experience of the citizens of Central Texas through quality presentations. Central Texas Theatre at Vive Les Arts Societe and Vive Les Arts Societe Children’s Theatre are designated by the IRS as 501(c)(3) non-profit incorporations. The organization lists a leadership team that includes an Executive Director, Operations & Social Media Manager, Building Caretaker, Bookkeeper, House Manager, and a Board of Directors with officer roles such as President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The theatre notes that there are many business sponsorships and advertising opportunities available to fit different budget sizes and that it is sponsored in part by funding from other organizations. Season Ticket Packages are available and include extra benefits as well as discounted tickets, and a preferred hotel corporate rate is available for Vive Les Arts.
